Default Unknown wires

Hi Everyone

I have uncovered some wiring in the boot of my 2001 XJR and don't know what it is for, have not followed the wires further but just wondering if any thoughts?

First pictures are a connector next to the battery, the second are behind the trim next to the CD changer.

There was a module for shipping the car removed by the dealer

This was located by the battery

The item was called the transit isolation device and contained a White / Blue wire with the other 2 wires connected to the battery post

This can be sean on page 39

X300 01/E COVER (jagrepair.com)

I'm not saying the connector went to that but a possibility

My guess on the one near the CD changer is that all of the cars might have been wired for the optional navigation units which sat above the CD changer if fitted…

Thanks for the replies folks, will have to do some rummaging with regards to the aftermarket box and find out what it hooks up to! Glad the first part is confirmed, that connector would drive me insane otherwise haha

I think I recall a second box for the factory nav that contained the GPS gubbins, but I've not been under my boot carpet for a while to say where it is. That last box resembles it though, I think.

See it was the rough cut plate it's attached to that made me think aftermarket could be right that it's just the GPS though!

Yeah I think my box is mounted differently to that, but the box is sorta familiar.
