Most cars that I have messed with have it in the same place as in the video, but that is an S type, so it might not apply mostly because of the direction that the hood opens

yes , there was a pollen filter fitted to some cars upon request from new, but its rarer than a manual XJ8 , its located in four slots under the wiper scuttle, the body ecu also need a reprogram to allow for restricted airflow to the climate control but you wont find any anywhere, unless its a used set from a car that had them requested from new not been available for over six years now

This confirms what Testpoint mentions in his posting that is included in the other Jaguar Forum posting below.

I was trying to find out about the Cabin Filter 2 weeks ago. I was told that the XJ and maybe XK models here in the US do not have a Cabin Filter. The models produced from 2004 and on do have it here in US.
Also I found a thread here on the Jaguar Forum that basically says the same thing.

Also I found out that there were no powerfold mirrors on these cars in US.
