Does anyone know where I might be able to get an aluminum thermostat cover? All my search results so far only show the complete tower upgrade kit, whereas I only need the cover.

 

DO NOT by the Uro brand. I did and had great difficulty making it seal. Very crude casting.

 

It' very unlikely anyone will supply the covers as spares. The tower is a rather low production item to start with and you are the first I have seen looking for a cover. But you might try calling Welsh Enterprises and see if they could get one from the manufacturer for you. 1-800-875-5247.

 

RJ237 is right. Start there, quality stuff. I bought cheap casting junk, many problems.

 

Just ordered the complete tower upgrade kit (excluding thermostat) from Welsh for $44 plus shipping, which is not too bad. I just hope the cover fits the existing tower because replacing the entire tower looks like a pain.

 

If you have the plastic tower go ahead and change it while you are there. You'll be doing so sooner or later anyway.
Get that short hose too.
