Are white XJR's highly desirable? Anyone got some pics?

I don't think white was a common color for these or the XJ8. More common are black or metallic silver (= "platinum"?)

White IS unusual for any of the XJs....X300,308, 350, etc. Oddly, though, I saw a white X308 just this weekend. Looked splendid. They're probably a bit more common in Florida, Texas, Middle East, etc where the climate is hot.

Desirable? Yeah, very desirable....if you like white :-)

I happen to really like white cars but I think I'm in the minority. If I *ever* buy a black car again I hope someone just flat-out kicks me in the head for being so stupid :-)

Cheers
DD

I have never seen a white XJR, then again, where I live I have never seen an XJR at all

Doug, to save your pain, I'll buy whatever it is off you for $200

Caught a glimpse of what I think was an X Type last week, a real eye catching blue in the port of Paimpol. What really caught my eye was the UK licence plate, JJK 3. Unfortunately by the time I had crossed the port, it had gone before I had chance to grab the owner.

I have seen this white XJR, it was in a used car lot. I was somewhat interested but it was quite beat up, torn drivers seat with foam exposed, sun bleached dashboard wood, and very poor panel gap and alignment on the front end

You don't see may white XJR's -- Most are black and silver ... but I have seen a couple of red and green examples over the years.

White is a very popular color in some areas -- not for the R ......... but I see a lot of white VDP's in my area ..... women like the white.

Just wondering, how much were they asking for it and what kind of miles did it have?

once I saw how beat up the car was I made a run for it back to my own car to leave before anyone could come and talk to me.

there were no stickers or anything on it at the time that I saw it
