Hi,

I am selling my 2001 XK8 transmission (my engine went and I am doing an LS swap) on eBay and some one asked if this would fit their 2000 Vanden Plas... I think it will but I wanted to ask the experts! What do you think?

All ZF 5HP24 gearboxes are interchangeable (XK or XJ).

I just installed a 1998 XJ8 gearbox (with a fresh oil/filter and updated 'A'drum) into my 2001 XJ8and it works normally.

The 4.0 XK8 has the same gearbox and can be installed in the sedan.
