Wiring in Nitrous :) Which wire is the tach signal?
I'll be calling the manufacturer tomorrow to see how to get the system working, the controller is not firing for some reason...
It says I have a good TPS signal
I know it has boost
I'm guessing that leaves the RPM signal or I could have a defective unit, but it is more likely user error.
Any ideas on which wire I could use for rpm? I've tried each of the injector wires to no success.
The tach on these cars apparently is different than most, so that is out...
This is the last piece of the puzzle I need to get my Nitrous working.
The bottle is already full and everything else is installed

I tried connecting to a coil signal green with colored stripe wire, still no RPM verification.
Our resident jag electronics expert says "it may be because the fuel injector and coil drives are both negative going pulse drive. You may need a positive going pulse."- so he is going to make me a device to switch the polarity and I will try that.
Stay tuned.
As Calvin said "Further bulletins and events warrent"
Update Bulletin: I've ordered an over the counter standard product that converts our Jag signals to something that should be easily read by the RPM indicator of my Nitrous control unit.
Should be here next Friday.
Once the smaller jets of Nitrous have been tested, my car is basically done. What a concept.
