Default Workshop Manual, Am I Missing Something?

I have downloaded the XJ-Series MY On Workshop Manual. Also downloaded the electrical manual. In many procedures the Workshop Manual points to another source. For example, in the Supplemental Restraint System - Side Impact Sensor it has "Remove 'B' post trim pad. Refer to 76.13.08." Searching the pdf for this gives no results, so it's not in the Workshop Manual. Is there another manual out there?

Could it not just be that 76.13.08 is not there by that number?

These references are all through the manual. See below.

I think someone converted the original workshop manual to what you're using. And lost those, I suspect.

You can pay Jaguar for the full version if you prefer!

The "refer to" numbers, like 16.13.08, are pdf internal links to the referenced page/part of the document. These numbers should be underlined with a blue line (does your pdf show these underlines?) and the cursor should change to a hand with the index finger pointed out when hovering over them. A click should then bring you to the referenced part of the manual. A click on 16.13.08, in my pdf, causes a jump to page 2081, i.e. the section for "B-pillar trim panel".

In general, for the normal search function to work, the pdf file has to be a "searchable" type. However (when the search function works), you cannot find the relevant section of the manual by searching using the number "16.13.08" as it will only find the places where this number is referred to.

Mine are not underlined in blue and no cursor change when hover. Do you have a link for where you got your pdf?

Hey PCP, I think that your reference on Page 2379 is for pages 2056, 2057. They may have just simply left it off by mistake.

I got it from www.JagDocs.com but the site does not seem to exist anymore. I can email you the manual in 6 parts which you can then join using Adobe Acrobat or an online "file merger".
