Hello.. I am trying to restore a 2002 XJ8 and I am having hard time finding parts for the sunroof assembly, some parts are missing or fixed with glue. Anybody can help me find the mechanical parts of the assembly or maybe a full set.

It might be easier to fit an entire sliding roof assy from another salvage car?

ALL X300/X308 sedans from 1995MY to 2003MY sliding roofs are the SAME.

 

+1...plus you don't know what the PO may have tossed away or jo'd together to where you have to pull it apart again just to figure that out.
Albeit, if your in Jordan, check out the Marketplace, top task bar, 4th from the left and see if someone has a whole assembly there that can ship there.

i agree with motorcarman. broken parts on those are so hard to replace on car. its an old model so price should be $150 or less for complete assy., and while your at it replace head liner

 

If your in America you can have the assembly from my xjr I'm converting to a none sun roof car
