Also interested in getting a hold of the shock absorber mount bushings. The last set I put on only lasted a year. Either I'm too heavy, or the driver's side bushing is intentionally cheap material and is the only side that wears out.
Thanks, good revue! I don't know much about Cats having never had them, but I hope you get them sorted!
Follow-up for the record: The CATS goes to full firm setting when one element in the system malfunctions (as when the left front shock bushing suddenly disintegrated). I took the car to Motorcarman who hooked it up to his diagnostic equipment, discovered stored malfunction codes for the four shocks, and deleted them. That did the trick...CATS is functioning normally.
So I ordered the front shock mounts from @phobman several months ago, replaced them on a spare set of steel housings I had laying around, but only found time to actually replace them in the car this morning.
It is Chinese New Year holiday here, so I have the B2 kind of for myself these days 🤣.
Everyone who has done this, knows it's not much of a job.
Putting the brake reservoir out of the way on the left side is almost the biggest job ....
Anyway, I had a bad clunck on both sides, but after a test ride, it's all good again.
Checking the ones who came out (some 3 years old, but with less than 500 kilometers !!), they are just pulverizing, and I can move them by hand.
The clunck is caused by the lack of insulation (pulverized) between the steel bushing and the steel housing.
I am confident if these new ones from @phobman stay together, this problem will indeed not happen again.
My rear donuts are next, chucks are falling out already, and you can see the car rides lower than it should be.
