Hi everyone I've got xj8 3.2 sport 2002, at risk problem repeating a previous question? , can I use the xk8 rearsubfame in my xj8?, I'm pretty sure there the same?, I only need lower part the rest will be cleaned and repaired as necessary but lower part is beyond repair ( rotten as pear!) , so if I can use either one it gives more options availability wise, First daylight for nearly a year!, going back her in now and tackle rearend
I believe so, review this TSB repair on the bushings and it shows the same frame area for both, but different bushing numbers on pg6 for Comfort and Sport. Other than that, the frame appears the same. It may also help you get the correct bushings for yours? http://www.jagrepair.com/images/TSB/...%20Bushing.pdf
Hi Highorse , As usual great advice thanks for the links and music (I see what you mean great track for nice twisty road!). I thought they were the same, never hurts for second opinion, as you say new bushes will be the order of the day silly not too while it's on bench?, thanks
Joe Bonamassa is one of my very favorite artists....he hails from the tutelage of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Johnny Lee Hooker. He studied those men...from how they played, to how they dressed and it shows in his music and dress. He opened for B.B. King when he was 12 if that gives you a better idea of how immersed his roots are. I used to go see Dereck Trucks (another fine guitarists) when he was 10 yrs old playing in Greg Allman's club in Orlando...The Junkyard (long since closed).
