Default XJR/X308 - convert from 375 to 560 BHP?

hello, I am new to this forum.

Is it possible to install this package(V8/ZF-gearbox/differential/brakes/etc) into this chassis? I will keep the J-gate :-)

You see, I love this design(low and elegant), but it would be nice with more power.

If it is possible, do anybody know about and any firms which can to this job.

Live in Norway, excuse for my poor english.

Thanks for info, Per - intresting stuff from "avos". I will take contact with him.

One gearbox-specialist I know very well, told me that the MB-gearbox in XJR could handle 1000 Nm.

One other question, since you are swedish. E4/E6 roads, are there many civil police?:-)

Our MB 722.650 is officially set for max 580Nm, but can handle as stock ~800Nm. Some modifications to the box and torque converter and no problems with 1000Nm+, but that's quite hard to reach

There is a supercharger upgrade that gets the xjr up over 600hp. Avos is your man.

You could also drop in a LS3 supercharged and manual transfer into the jag. There is a company that has a kit for it. 700+ hp is tempting

I live in Stavanger. Once a year i take a roadtip to Sweden. The route is Stavanger - Oslo- Gøteborg - Malmø - Stockholm - Karlstad - Oslo.

Two years ago I got caught by a civil police near Karlstad. I was pushing hard up the rising bridge. The cop was nice with me...

I am mailing with "avos". The kit is not far away...
