I don't feel quite qualified to give mechanical advise to a mechanic! But... in my limited experience, quite a number of the electrical issues described here and in your other post are influenced by either relays or fuses - some of which might not throw a trouble code to the VCM. That may be what is happening with your retractible antenna. There is a relay in the trunk of my '91, not sure where yours is located IF that's even the problem. I also cannot say why your wipers should only work on high, but the reason for them not parking is due to a parking microswitch in the housing located in the engine compartment just below the wiper. It's a cheap part and no work to fix: but that generally does fix the parking problem. The ABS light might be due to flaky ABS sensors. Thats the extent of my non-knowledge for what its worth. Others will comment. Best of luck! Scott

The driver's door switchpack melted does not sound good.
The BRAKE/ABS light flashing ON is probably a failed pressure accumulator so the pump has to operate every time the pedal is applied (No residual pressure)
You should probably list the faults in a column of problems rather than a paragraph running all of them together. It would be easier to see each fault on a separate line.
Some people have experience with certain issues that are common to these vehicles but cannot answer all the questions!!

FF 24 is Ignition Drive Circuit fault.
No heat is probably the rotary flap servos and/or vacuum problems.
Wiper fuse under the passenger dash for the park circuit or failed micro switch in the wiper motor assy.
There was a TSB for upgrading the wiper park fuse from 7.5 amp to 10 amp or something like that.
The Blue Hella relays are known for all sorts of problems so check them for circuits in question.
Door lock actuators fail but can be replaced without the entire latch.
The VCM will only display one fault at a time. You pull the instrument panel fuse in the center console cubby (FUSEBOX #3) with the ignition ON, engine OFF and watch the speed and tach. When the needles fall below zero, you install the fuse and read the VCM again. The display will go to the next fault (unless that is the only fault)
You need to get an electrical guide for diagnosis and publication S-91 for engine management faults. I uploaded the S-91 to a site for this forum but you will need to contact a moderator for download access.
Most of these faults are common and answers can be found with a search of this forum and others but it is a time consuming endeavor.
Cruise control fault might be the DUMP VALVE. I have had several fail and the vacuum leaks through the valve.

I may not be able to answer your questions but if you have followed my "Throwing in the Towel" thread, the people on this Forum are excellent and will put you in the right direction to get your car fixed. I went from selling the car and dumping it as/is to getting it 90% road ready.
I am sure you will get your XJ going in no time with the help of everyone here.
