Engine Lift with Intake Bolts?

Engine Lift with Intake Bolts?
I'm getting ready to put my engine back in the car, with the trans attached. The factory manual seems to point to using two lifting brackets that are attached to the first two and and last two intake studs. I do not have those brackets, but have similarly angled plates that I was going to attack to these same four studs.
Is this indeed the correct process for lifting this huge 3.6 engine with the trans...not the larger sized exhaust manifold side studs? I know the angle of the engine make the intake-side lift more ideal, but they're smaller sized studs...
Lifting it out, I wrapped the whole engine, but putting it back in, I'd like to be a bit more precise, especially since it's all cleaned up and detailed nicely...
Thanks!
Pete
