Hi guys,

As im dealing with a LHM light, i have decided to make a separate thread on this issue....

So I'm getting a fuel fail 22 code on the vcm, i know it has to do the with the fuel pump circuit.. so i checked and cleaned the round fuel pump connector under the rear seat with electronic cleaner, i cleaned and tested the relay then just replaced it, i also cleaned the terminals on the fuel pump and im still getting the code, ive reset the ecu as well. could it be a faulty fuel pump? the humming is very loud if that means anything, keep in mind that the pump is mounted on the cross member under the diff on the left, not inside the tank.

what else would cause this ff22 code on a 1990 jaguar VP 4.0?

Read pdf page 90, then follow the diagnostic flow chart on pdf page 91 and let us know what you find.
