Default Glutton for Punishment

Not that I'm leaving XJ40 land, I just really want to drive myself completely nuts prior to me departing this planet.
I'm diving in! I have had my eye on this car for over a year, I finally convinced the guy to sell it to me. I am sure to be bouncing back and forth between sections now. I should be picking it up Saturday. 1992 12V XJS Coupe, clean, runs quiet and has 78k on it.

Seems to me we've been 'round this bend before, mtr. Hey, if having one Jaguar is good, having three or four of them can only be better! Truth is, I LOVE this era XJS coupe. Very good choice. Have fun!

Those "2nd generation" restyled XJS cars were far better made than the earlier ones, so you should not have too much trouble; far less than your XJ40s give/gave you, I would think.

You'll soon be needing another couple for spares and what not.

Looks sweet.

Yes. I don't plan on doing it again either. I'm happy I was able to get my XJ6's running and road worthy safe before I picked up the XJS. This is a different species all together. Understanding and being able to identify the various parts is a mission within itself. I know one thing though, the purge valve is easier to get too. Its just a bunch of components jammed in a small space.
Actually those that designed it, and made it work were brilliant.

Jim, prior to buying my first jag I visited the forum and just read and read and read. I was into the forum before I was into the car. Had it not been for the forum being here, I wouldn't have bought the car...now cars!
