Hello I've just bought my first jaguar, an xj40 from 1989. It has a few problems I just fixed the anti lock failure by resoldering the over load relay but now I have this that's bugging me a lot when driving. The vcm display or what it's called have some type of pixel error, sometimes it's there but sometimes not, just drove about 15 minutes earlier today without it showing but then it came back and I can't get it to stop showing, even if I I press clear it still shows and lights up my face. Anyone have any ideas about what's causing this? Do I need to resolder it?

do a search for binnacle and see what pops up
