Just a little addition to the DIY install photos - 2022
Hello, I'm new to this whole Blog thing especially with my new to me 1991 jag sovereign. I still haven't gotten it on the road yet as I am installing a new custom fabricated stereo. I got tired of the neighbors being disrespectful late at night and letting their friends drive in this neighborhood with their tunes bumping about 8 months ago. Just so happened I bought this jag about 10 months ago and it wasn't running. Since then I have gotten it running as it was a simple fix there. I only havent driven it yet because I'm retarded. ...lol no no, because I know me and I won't ever get around to finishing my install if I'm always driving it. And it has taken a while to order my stuff online over this past year. (thefts are to blame). Anyhow, I wanted to ask one thing and share another .....
1) I emailed Andy and hope he responds. I dunno if he still makes these brackets or not or if he is still around these days bloggin at all ?
2) I took pics of my cold air I take set up and thought I would share my unique style of low cost mods .
Finally,
...should be nice when I get it on the road as im going I circles what to do about the power situation. I have a second battery bank but I dunno if running high wattage means I would need to just recharge it every night or get a. Later alternator. And if so where the heck that will go I am unaware. As the original space is not very large. I thought about putting a solar panel into the trunk lid and running that so it gets recharge slowly daily but I live in WA state and the weather is like that in the UK. Otherwise , the charging system kind of scares me. Of all the things on a car I don't mind pulling out and apart and putting back in it's the charging system that bothers me most for some reason. Any ideas and I would be ecstatic. At any rate see the pics if you wish.....figured it would be a nice way to say HELLO to anyone still on this thread . And thank you in advance for any ideas. There's a lot of posts to go through so I apologize if something has been listed and I haven't came across it yet. Thanks again .
