Default To thundercat , Avos, and XJengineer and all others -THANK YOU

Thank you , thank you thank you.

Thundercat is right , these aren't space craft , they are cars. And although unorthodox from an American vehicle layout , they still have many things that make sense and much that might not, but they still are a CAR!

In this world , the world of the mighty CAT, I think that the place fo negativity or criticism without the knowledge or acknowledgement of the obvious passion that has been displayed by any and all that have attempted to get the most out of the jag is an admirable thing. The fact that the aftermarket parts for these vehicles are about as abundant as haircut trimmer for a pet flea is....makes the feat of Introducing any product or any service to assist in the improving of one of the most elegant car brands to ever be created is something that deserves celebration at every turn and amongst the lot of us that own jaguars. Being critical, judgemental or defensive to a degree that is a "turn off" is as faux pas as any other socially retarded action or concern would be in any circle amongst enthusiasts and mainstream populace! So ... After reading some of the B.S. of judgey judgey ....I felt inclined to include my two cents. And that's to say THANK YOU to all. See, it may be of some financial value for thundercat to NOT try anything new and to go along a path once recorded by another , but that's the prerogative of THINDERCAT and their crew and their finances , because anybody can do something a million times and can do it different a million times and it may fail a million times , but on the one million and one time that something is attempted and it may well succeed. That is the beauty of ingenuity and life...we were given the gift of creation and the brains to record knowledge as to share that with one another. That is a beautiful thing in and of itself.

I agree , many things about these cara are very odd maybe or need a little extra thought and care should one want more power , better mpg or just more of a trustworthy ride without fear of failure. And all these things would be correct . Hell, I'm trying to fit over 5000 watts of stereo into the car and God knows the alternator location has enough room to fit a thimble! I've tossed around the idea of solar , of rebuilding the alternator , both and then of course maybe finding someone who wants to weld new bracketing somewhere. All of which are a pain in the butt to some, such as myself. Nonetheless there is a will and there will be a way! And then I'll be looking for performance immediately following . And I think God that I found these posts. So, THANK YOU ALL AGAIN! Thank you for going where no man has gone before and helping us all realize our desires and enjoyment ...negative Nancy's need not apply!!! Hee hee.

Take it easy and any pics I'll include.....I currently have two underwear min subs installed , a. False floor , a homemade heat shield for a cold air Intake , will be porting a 4 the order bandpass into the cabin front eh trunk, will be finishing my kickpanels soon. Will aube 5 amplifiers and two dsp's and the only dilemma I'll face is what to do about running power. As I already have my second battery bank installed. Thank you again. Have a nice day

Hello Aaron!

Welcome to the Jaguar Forums! It's great to have you with us.

I have moved your posts from the forums for the X300 and X308 to the forum for the XJ40, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your 1991 XJ6 Sovereign. Here you will find knowledgeable owners of similar cars.

Cheers,

Don
