Question Mystery Part, Need Help Identifying

This part is from a 92 XJ40. It sits on a bracket above the air pump. There is an electrical connector and two vacuum hoses. One of the plastic connectors broke and I need to replace it.

The light blue part is where the electrical connection goes. The black "can" is just a plastic air filter. You can see one of the black male connectors for one of the vacuum hoses. The other one snapped off.

Notice the part is labeled "Made in Japan". What!? I thought my car was British pure-bred!

Thanks.

This^ EAC7905, EGR Vacuum Solenoid and its a spendy little bugger. $100-$125. I tried to find on in a yard but was unable to and had to break down and buy a new one.

But if you go looking bring a DVOM and check the resistance at the terminals and check to see if its still good as I found 2-3 bad ones in the cars I found. It should be about 45 ohms.

I've always had bad luck with used electric parts; many come off storm damaged (i.e. water) vehicles and don't work well (if at all). Ended up buying a new one from PartsGeek of all places had it at a reasonable price.

Like to thanks everyone for their valuable help and suggestions.
