Hey all. I've got an 88 xj6 and am have radio issues. It will turn on but I can't get any sound to come out of the speakers. I have the radio unlock code and have tried holding down the band button to get it to go into unlock mode bit that won't work either. Any ideas about what's wrong with it? I'll takes any questions or ideas that might help. Thanks

 

A wild stab in the dark because I don't know much about audio nor what model you have installed.

But have you joggled with the 'Mode' button on the right. Radio/Cassette/CD.

Apparently mine will default to CD even if there isn't one.
