Default Rear Reading Lamp Fuse

The reading lamp on the rear of the driver’s seat will not go out. I'll address that issue later but in the meantime it's draining my already low battery (it tested at far below the normal amperage today and I can’t replace it till the weekend). I was thinking of just pulling the fuse for the rear reading lamps but I don’t know which one it is and pulling all of them one at a time till I find doesn’t sound fun. Anyone actually know which fuse it is? Or at least which panel? The ones in the center console are labeled so I know it’s not there but the two side panels on the sides have no labeling. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Labels would have been helpful. Lol. Thank u for ur help. I did find it. And all the interior lights worked fine until I pulled the fuse. However, the fuse indicator light has been on since I bought the car and the VCR says it is panel 1. Haven't gotten to testing them all yet but I read somewhere that this car had some electrical component that was prone to draining the battery and pulling the fuse for that component isn't uncommon. Looks like they are all there. Anyone have any knowledge of that?

you may be thinking of the windshield wiper fuse behind the passenger knee board. do your wipers park correctly?

The black dial on the seat light, dims it and also turns it on and off. Spin it and see if it has a click. If not, you can replace that whole unit. Fuse 1 is the passenger fuse box. If that light is on, you have a blown fuse. Take a flashlight and shine it on the fuse box, look carefully, you'll see the blown one. You don't have to pull them one at a time to find it.

The wipers work, they are old and dry rotting a lil but electronically they work.

And there's is no click on the reading lamp so It will have to replaced. But I don't think I'll be doing the work on it anymore. I got frauded by the previous owner and have halted all work till i kno for sure I can own the title. Sux!

The simplest way is just remove the bulb.
