Default Rear taillight not working

Hello everyone I’m new to the jaguar scene, I’m used to working on older Chevy trucks and am pretty mechanically inclined, I have recently acquired a 1988 xj6 which has a few different mechanical problems but one that is bugging me the most is the rear left taillight doesn’t work when braking, reversing, or when the blinkers are on, I have tested the the brake module and it’s ok, I swapped the right and left one, both work on the right but not the left. When the bulbs are in the housing the module doesn’t work but when I pull the bulbs out the module will make the blinking sound. Any help would be great, trying to get this old steed back out on the road again

First thing that comes to my mind if they both will work is to check for good ground, check for power to the module, and maybe corrosion on the plug.

There is a dedicated fuse in the right side fuse block location B7, 10amp, but that would give you a fuse light on the dash.

I have checked all grounds and do have power, I have also check all fuses and relays that could effect the tail lights and everything checks out good

My next suspect would be the plug at the controller board on the light assembly then. Maybe an individual wire has pushed back out of the connector.

Both controller boards work in the right side but not the left

I took mine apart and reflowed the solder joints on the board. There might be a illustrated thread in the archives, I posted a description of the process a few years back. You have to melt the plastic **** to release the circuit board.

After some further digging, I have found that on a set of wires that goes to the control module, coming from. The front of the car back has four wires that are all running 12-13 volts, whatever the car is running at. So to me that tells me I have a broken wire somewhere, is there a working diagram that I can use to show me where the harness runs from
