Does anyone know where the themostat for the heated Drivers side seat is located?. Wiring diagram says in the seat cushion but I can not find anything that resembles a heater stat?

It should be part of the heater pad and electrical grid, in otherwords you need a new heat pad

 

Well I took the plunge and removed the front edge upholstery cllips and reached in under the cover and found it about half way back towards the right side. It is under some burlap like cloth and was much smaller than I expected. Cut the cloth close to the stat, a little larger than the largest button battery available. As soon as I touched it one of the wires fell off.
That is/was the problem.
So it is in there on the seat bottom cushiion. Happy that's over with.
