Nope, only chance you must replace your rims .Your car has 220 65 VR 390 from what I get

No, that wouldn't happen anyway as I recall '90 was the last year for 220 65 VR 390 tires .

As I wrote in the specific section of the forum I am considering to get a Jag.
I saw a beautiful XJ40 and she comes with 15'' lattice wheels with 225/65 R15 tyres.
Here's the pic.



I checked the tyres availability and what I found is quite crazy.: A set of 4 is about the equivalent of 1600 US $ here in Italy.

I wonder if:
Option 1: can I fit 215/65 R15 on those lattice? (this size is easy to find and it comes at reasonable price - 630 US $).
Option 2: would it be possible to fit the XJ40 with X300 sport wheels (I think code is mna6113gb) size 16" without having problem of tyres rubbing the arches?.
I post a pic taken from the net just for reference.


I would keep the 15" lattice wheels with their tyres parked in garage and to use them during "special occasion".
