18" vacuum without the engine running
an unusual thing!
my new brake vacuum pump can get 18" HG without the engine!
all my yrs of cars services , this is a 1st!
gotta love some of the new tech. and the internet to spread it around.
but after much searching and ideas, if i were to do my brake system over, id go for the GM HYDRO-BOOST system, and use an electric power steering pump for the steering and the hydro boost, both, save on engine power also! toss the GM-JAG pump and dont need cumbersome belts, free up some space also!
gotta love new tech.
i have had three vehicles with HY/BO and never had any trouble with them, so much so,never give it any thought, how good they were!
