88 front seat removal HELP

what model car is it? Is it a V12 Series 3 from 1988? or is it a XJ-40?
not familiar with the XJ-40 but in the Series 1, 2, and 3, the seat back can be removed but you must pull or remove the seat cushion first because there are two screws that are hidden by the seat cushion. Once you remove those two large screws, you push the seat back UPWARDS to release it from its top brackets.

Then remove 4 bolts which hold the rail down , then everything should just come out.
