A bit of a pain...
So the gasket on the transmission is leaking a little and I decide to replace it and head down to my local Napa store to but a new one, I come home, drop the old pan only to find out that the gasket will not fit.
Upon arrival back at NAPA they tell me it's the only one they show for an 87 XJ6 and for whatever reason they show the transmission to be a BW Type 35 not the 66.
I only have myself to blame for not checking first before dropping the old pan and oil.. Ah well, I have some gasket material at home so will make my own.
