Default Engine Oil Pan Removal

Been searching for a while but I can't seem to find much on the procedure for removing the engine oil pan without getting the engine out of the car in a 1991 XJ6. Does anyone have any info on this?
Thanks

First and foremost, WELCOME.

Please do an Intro in the "New members intro area" when time permits.

Your 1991 XJ6 is known as an XJ40 in Jag talk. Confused?, so were we all in the beginning.
A simple repost in the XJ40 section will get the answers you need quickly.

A Moderator will cruise by when the time zones align and move this for you, but jump in whilst waiting.

I have done plenty of the earlier XJ6 and XJ12 sumps, and front cradle OUT is the best way.

NOT sure on the AJ6/AJ16 engines, but I reckon the same access issues will be encountered.

So which is the best way to get the font craddle out?

I have no idea on that model. I have never had the need to remove one.

As I suggested before, a repost in the XJ40 Forum will get the answers you seek.

The guys from that area rarely visit here, for obvious reasons.

In searching for your location, I note you have it as "VE". I know NOT where that is, so maybe also clear that one up a tad also, as it really does assist with the correct answers to any question you will ask.
