With all it's "engineering oddities", I have always, well not quite, admired that DOHC.
Just looks so durn great. I've been attached to 6's for a long time. well, one PO'd me way before the last one!! But, the I6 in my Jeep is so sturdy, I am gonna keep 'er.

New hatch struts on the Jeep. Much more assist and no risk of getting conked on the head and bending the hatch.

Tankless water heater fixed, back in auto mode. Tons of tools it took to do that and the hatch strut swap back in place. None lost!!!

If it warms up a bit more today, back to slash chop of the limbs I downed. I think I beat the curve. I lightened that leaning Bay. The storms we have been having toppled a lot of trees. This one was surely a candidate to be wind toppled!!!

All good, oil came out nearly as clean as the new stuff.

Any excuse to add a picture of the beautiful engine and the good Dr.

Just a chance to post a photo.
Dr Phill checked the oil.

That's it, loving this new engine is great. Can you believe it's been in over a year now.

Ignore the pyjama pants, good mate dropping over for a school night session.(Dr Phill)
Not even having to look under the bonnet is good.

Always nice to catch up and not have to get dirty. DO IT ONCE, DO IT WELL.
Not sure about the pyjama pants but Clarke.

Very amusing Colorful garb, definitely.

Circa the early 80's my Assistant Claim Manager was addicted to the "game" of golf. Intriguing "pants" seemed. a part of game. Bob would've worn those "pajama" pants proudly. In spite of intense pressure, Bob never got me on the course.
