I have found the answer to the question below regarding towing. If I knew how to delete a thread I would have done so. Thanks for your patience.


Sorry to keep asking all these little questions; but here I go again.


What are the recommended hookup or tow points on the rear of a SeriesII?


I'll be pulling it out tomorrow. I didn't think those little tie down loops are recommended.


I searched with google and this forum, no info.

Yes, those tie downs are designed for pulling the car.

They are much stronger than you think.

My car was pulled onto a tilt tray by those loops, you can see them in the pic. Silver loops ant the wishbones.

 

Of course the last place I looked was the owners manual, and right there on page 20 it says "Towing - all cars Always use the towing eyes,,,,,,"

Tow eyes worked well. It's out of storage and at my shop. Thanks for your help guys!
