Default HOAT G05 coolant

So I need to change the coolant on my 1978 V12 Coupe. I have read that a more modern HOAT G05 coolant is popular because of higher anti-corrosion properties. Anyone have a view on this? What are members using?

After soooo many years with Jags, and 55 in the Parts Game, Genuine and Aftermarket, I have heard ALL the spin, and read ALL the guff.

It ALL states to change at 5 years, yeh right, some are 8 years, ha, what EARLY Jag keeps its coolant where its meant to be, NOT many.

There are weeps and leaks constantly, and it is what it is from that era. AGREE with upping the Anti fro SQ36 and Bars Leaks.

Down here corrosion protection is the usual go to product, as we No Got Snow and Freezing stuff. I use Nukon, Penrite, Castrol, Green, in all of them, since the 80;s. Whatever is on Special, like oils, gets my nod.

Everyone has their favourites, and GOOD for them, I simply did not have the time, Daily Driver Jags are a Special Breed. Now I have the time, what the heck, if its got Green, it gets Green, etc.

Never had a cooling/corrosion issue with any, from the MK7 onward, even in our 50c Summers.

I doubt there are many Glycol based coolants out there, having been retored too long, so I dont get the spin anymore.
