Default Hose connections on Daimler Sovereign 4.2 series 3

Hi

I am still stuck at trying to figure out where the hoses go after dismantling my Daimler Sovereign 4.2, series 3, 1981 model.
Does anyone know where the hose at the end of the 3/8 inch steel pipe connects to - this is the pipe that runs under the inlet manifold and comes out near the throttle body - the other end connects to the bypass hose from the water rail, I believe?

Also, where does the vacuum hose at the throttle body go to?

Thanks a lot for your help!
Best wishes
George

The small hose at the top of the thermostat housing goes forward to a vapor pipe above the radiator.

That leaves you with an empty nipple below the radiator hose. Run a hose from there to one of the coolant nipples on the throttle body. The other coolant nipple on the throttle body should have a hose going to the water rail.

I don't know about the vacuum fitting, sorry.

Cheers

This might help.

SIII Vacuum Decals

There are some other vacuum diagrams in the archives. Just search "vacuum diagram" in this section

There are some variances from year-to-year and what type of emissions equipment the car was built with

Thanks again Doug! The other end of the 3/8 steel pipe - where does this connect to?

Unfortunately, I could not find the vapour pipe you were referring to - where is this exactly?

Thanks again.

Best wishes

I have a tee just off TB vac nipple... one line goes under intake manifold to Distributor Vacuum advance ... second line goes up RH side of engine bay to Charcoal Canister inside wheel-well.
