No, not for the car, for the garage door, got it all out of work dumpsters. Yes i dumpster dive! Lol. Keep in mind i work for a custom home builder so jobsite dumpsters have the coolest stuff. I am currently building a.builtin for my tv area, and other than the main counter area piece of plywood the reat is made.from scraps from.jobsite dumpsters. Even the glass shelves were in there, (had to have them.recut to fit my stuff, but hey, free is free! Ok back to garage door, it has.made huuge difference as the sun beats on my.door from about 1 until.it sets, i can now keep.door closed and run ac in there as i also insulated attic (had to pay for that though)
So now any work on the jag can be done in comfort! Maybe i will now be motivated to remove.the tint thats turning purple!!

Great work Darren, I love the idea! Similar problem with my garage, the metal door is almost identical to yours (including the power lifter!). Afternoon sun beats down on the door which faces NW (I guess yours faces S or SW?). I've often thought the garage would serve better as a sauna, gets way to hot to work in there in summer.
