Default Oil pressure port

Greetings,

I know nothing about the project you are undertaking, and a fair amount about the stock engine you are modifying.

That scares me to do anything to reduce camshaft oil feed. What about just using the hole into the gallery for the oil pressure sender? RH side of engine, just in front of the starter. It's mounted on an aluminum block, which may already have an additional (blocked) port in it. If not, I'm sure you could figure out a way to "T" or relocate the oil pressure sender. You're probably going to want to use a mechanical gauge anyway, right? The stock electrical senders are somewhat inaccurate, and unreliable.

1985Jag, you don't want to run oil components in series with each other. Like was mentioned by JagTech, you want to run the oil for the turbo in parallel to the rest of the motor. Then all you are doing is controlling the amount of oil to the turbo. More oil to the turbo is good for the turbo, but if too much, can starve the rest of the engine, leading to failure and vice versa. This is where selecting the correct size fittings and size lines is going to be critical.

Dont most manufacturers suggest that you mount oil lines in the oil pan? One a send line, the other a return. Just a thought.
