oscilloscope reference waveforms
Hi everyone, I’m looking to see if anyone has oscilloscope reference waveforms for the ignition components, AFM and fuel injectors for SIII, 4.2 liter.
I may need to upgrade to a 2 channel PICO scope since my Snap on Vantage Pro may not have enough definition to identify the problem part or parts
I’m dealing with a slight misfire and want to avoid randomly replacing parts if possible.

I'm not sure wave forms are available for this EFI, it seems to me that the various sensors and outputs are either a resistance level or the injector on time. However, this may be of help...

Thanks, Nileseh, for the info. I’m surprised no one on YouTube has made a video about using an oscilloscope on a Jag V12 or the 4.2L. I’d give it a shot, but I don’t have enough experience to tell the difference between a fine, good, and not-so-good waveform, especially on an ignition component that’s not completely failed but starting to go bad.
