Default Outstanding service

Ok, here we go. I had to do the rear brakes on my series 3 xj6. They were bad, real bad & after investigating the possibility of doing the job myself, with the help of a hotrod building mate i might add, it was decided i was better off getting a professional to do it.
So, i called in to the Independant Jag Workshop in Sandgate QLD. & spoke to Michael the owner about it & he just so happened to have a series 3 on the hoist right then getting that very job done. He took me into the workshop & physically showed me what was involved & explained in great detail what they actually did.
The more he showed me & told me the cheaper the quote was sounding so i booked the car in.
Drooped it off Tuesday, picked it up Thursday. The price was right on the quoted amount & he even did a couple of little extra things that were not charged for.
I cannot recommend the business highly enough. Friendly professional service & great work as well.

Thumbs up

Having been involved in rebuilding rear brakes on Nix, and knowing first hand what's involved, if you got someone qualified and knowledgeable to do the job right, I say, Good Onya!! And Congrats!!

Also good to find a trusted workshop to deal with. There are sometime jobs where one or more of lack of time, lack of knowledge, lack of workshop or specialist tools and aids will come into play. Knowing where to go when that happens makes things a bit simpler.

Good job out of the way. Your car seems to be coming together nicely.

The Independant Jag Workshop have a great reputation, I have heard many good reports about their work.
Having done the brakes myself before, I completely understand you having someone take on the job for you. Although I wouldn't hesitate to do it myself again now I know the routine.
