Oxygen Senson warning light
Hi Everyone,
So on my drive today the Oxygen Senson warning light came on. Is this as simple as changing the sensor on the exhaust manifold? Or should I be looking elsewhere?
This is on my 1979 Series II with Fuel Injection
no, it is a REMINDER to RESET the Oxygen SENSON light.
go to the trunk, behind the upholstery panel located behind the rear seat, and you will see the RESET box. Push the button to reset it to zero.
it comes ON every 40k miles or so, to REMIND you to go spend $90.00 on behalf of Bosch Electronics Deutsche.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Ditto: Jose is on to it, on two levels !!!
With the aid of a fellow J-l lister/lumper, mine now reads "Check Engine". A needed feature to please CA" SMOG inspectors… My referee was impressed. It not only works, but looks right.
