I just put on a set last night, and as I had the rack off the car so to speak, hanging on by the tie rods? I wonder if I have messed up my alighnment. I am heading out right now, so I guess I will find out soon.

it shouldn't have changed it,if a new rack had been put in,different story.
just putting the rack bushings in will not change anything.
