Default Removing expansion tank

Trying to remove the expansion tank on an 87 SIII v12. I've got the two nuts on the left (inside of the wheel well) off - actually one of the studs sheared off unfortunately. Then there is that mounting tab on the right. The bolt in the engine bay that goes through that mounting tab seems to be spinning/stripped. Is there a captive nut on the inside of the wheel well or what? I couldn't feel anything reaching around up there. I have the front of the car on ramps at the moment and it's disassembled beyond the point of being able to easily back it down, jack it up and remove the wheel to get a better look. I may have to get creative or just wait until it's back together. Thanks.

From memory, not a captive nut. Just a regular nut and a lock washer. probably obscured but mud or undercoating
