Removing the gas pedal pad
I replaced the carpet in my Vanden Plas this weekend. The carpet piece that fits behind the brake and gas pedal needs to be fitted behind the gas pedal stop pad. It is a spring-loaded round metal piece about the diameter of a racquet ball. I need to remove this piece in order to place the new carpet behind it. Anybody know how to remove this part?
