Spot the difference-%24_20.jpgSpot the difference-dsc_4350.jpg

Only last weekend we were driving my son to his formal, the next day we were discussing using the car for events. But the line was,"we would need two the same colour" in case you got asked to do a wedding. Both agreed it would have to be the right price. Had a little laugh and moved on to what we were going to bbq for dinner.
Strangest thing happened Tuesday, I found myself surfing Gumtree and a new result appeared in my saved searches.
It was $10,000, Thursday it dropped to $8950, today $8450. So by next Friday at this rate I will be paying $5000 for a second series 1 moving to the Sunshine Coast and running a wedding car business.
Maybe knock a bit extra off for the missing hub cap!

We can all dream of early retirement I guess. In reality the car car hire game is tough, my sister works for a mob called Jag Jaunts.

You never know what you might buy at the right price.

Nah!

You missed out the different number plates, the tint across the top of the screen and maybe more

Just toying with ideas, we are planning a move to Sunshine Coast, but not in the
foreseeable future. But if a plan comes together so be it. Got long service up and youngest finishes school in a few weeks. The planets are slowly aligning.
Part time driving instructor(motorcycle qualified already) and handy man business is the long term plan to escape Brisbane and the printing trade. Car hire is just a distant thought, but a matching car is available

Yes those are significant milestones. We found less and less things tied us to the city over time, in the end it was only the job golden handcuffs and they got removed at the GFC so decision making became very simple. Good that you have plans/ideas for next steps.

I have a series 2 from 1976 and a couple of sets of later mirrors from a series 3. How difficult is it to fit them to the series 2?
