Default Steering rack question

The seal blew out of the steering rack seal on the drivers side the other day and I was looking to buy a rebuilt unit by Maval Gear . Is this a good unit or is there a better brand that i should purchase.

No experience with that brand, personally.

Coventry West in Georgia (800 331 2193) specializes in Jag steering racks. They're a sure bet.

Cheers

you will have to buy rebuilt, unless you find a new-old-stock rack, so buy the cheapest you can find, they're all the same, if they're rebuilt, and comes with a warranty, buy the cheapest. check eBay too, lots of racks go on sale, look for low price with Free Shipping, if someone tries to charge you a chunk of money for shipping, go elsewhere. Shipping has become a profit-maker for some businesses.

also, you might considerk a good used rack: try David at Everyday XJ www.everydayxj.com

also try Motorcars Ltd. in Dallas they have their own in-house line of remanufactured parts for XJ called Black Dog Mfg.:
