Default Thelma's on the road again!

Hello! New Jag owner, and new driver as well. I dont know alot about cars in general but I am interested in learning! "Thelma" my jag has been sitting for two years, my mechanic and I have got her running and I'm trying to learn as we go. Do you have any recommendation on sites or videos about jags i could check out? Any tips? My Thelma todo list is; install new stereo, fix exhaust leak(through the trunk), connect fuel tanks to empty equally, cosmetic touchups inside etc etc!

Hello,
Congratulations on your new Jaguar!
As Steve has mentioned, if your car has been sitting for a while, there will be Numerous things needing attention, but if you get it drivable in the meantime, that will be the most fun for you. There's no better way to get to know a car than to drive it between repair projects.

Previous posts in this section (going back Years) will help you learn some of the more, um, Intricate problems you might encounter. Search function will lead you where you need to go.

Welcome to our little corner of the forums from ElinorB.

Thelma's new steward.

Add your name. friendly folks here as well as most helpful in tech and encouragement.

Why change the fueling? I like the tank selection on my car. Once I got to understand it.
It differed a bit from my other two tank critter.

Caveat, if you simplify and add a "T' to connect the tanks, a side hill full tank issue can arise. there are cures,

If I were to mess with my fueling, which is not likely, I would add filters upstream of the pump.

Again, welcome, enjoy....

Carl
