Upgrades & repairs
For reference repairs were made to my ‘77 XJ12L with a BBC.
Replaced the 34 year old white KYB shocks with the new gray KYB’s. Old ones were not leaking, but rough riding. With the new ones the ride is smoother. Good investment
A/C was quitting in super hot weather, or A/C would not restart after the engine was shut off and was allowed to “heat soak”. If I fiddled with the fan switch it might or might not come back on. Solution was to replace the four micro switches in the fan control switch. The project was more fun than I willing to put in print.
