I just got home from a drive and my right-hand side indicators are stuck on (interior right-side indicator, front right-side exterior indicator, and rear right-side exterior indicator).

If I start the car and turn the indicator stalk left, the left indicator lights all come on and flash - if I turn the stalk right, the lights remain fully on and do not flash.

My initial thought was that there could be an issue with the indicator stalk, although at the rear of the car, the right-hand reverse light is also stuck on.

This makes me think that this is an issue other than a switch - any suggestions or insights?

For reference/detail, the car is a: 1970 Series I XJ6 4.2

 

I would check all your fuses, I had some weird stuff going on one time and it was a blown fuse causing other circuits to backfeed,
