So I have only had this car a week. I noticed its idle is really low and it stays at about 1200 on the highway. The problem is that sometimes when I increase speed, or stay constant, it will feel like I lose all power of a second and then it jerks forward. Most of the time it increases speed greatly but sometimes it will not go above 1200 rpms when approaching the highway. I checked the marelli issue and its fine. I changed the fuel filter. Any advice on what to do next?
Btw...the car had only been driven 1000 miles in the last 5 years.

Was the fuel filter clogged/contaminated? That's an important clue.

Nope. It was clear and seemed clean.
