215/70 vr15
Hello Everybody.
I would like to estimate the potential market for 215/70 VR15 tires, and make tire manufacturers aware that many vintage cars owners can't find satisfactory products anymore.
Please, if you are in search of tires in that size and can't find them, sign in this list. Hopefully it will convince tire suppliers of the existence of a market for this product.

Among the many vintage cars that require those tires are Jaguar XJ and XJS, Aston Martin DB6, Lamborghini Jarama 400 GT,Lamborghini Espada S Ii 3.9, Maserati Merak, Maserati Khamsin, Maserati Bora, Ferrari 512 et 365GT4, Ferrari 400 GT & GTS etc.
Please let it know your friends who drive such cars.

Good idea !
For the record, though, Ferrari, Maserti, etc. owners....who generally have deeper pockets than those driving old Jags.... are already provided for
Michelin XWX - 215/70VR15
Cheers

I called the Pirelli customer hotline a few months ago asking for this tire. They told me they no longer produce that tire. He said if they get enough requests for it they would start producing them again. He also said I was the third person to call about the 215/75 vr15 that day so maybe there is hope.
In the UK these tyres are still available and manufactured and sold by a company called Vredenstein. Might be worth contacting them about a shipment to the USA? The JEC racing series is (or was) sponsored by them.
for a nice-looking 205/70x VR 15, check out the bottom of the page at this link..

Waw, it looks like a clever tyre manufacturing company.
Unfortunately 205/70 VR15 isn't conform to the car's manufacturer's specifications (2098.58 mm instead of 2142.57 mm, out of the tolerance).
