Yep my thoughts exactly. Ok the first number is the ideal(jagaire numbers) the second numbers are my measured results. For some reason I had it spaced lovely so it was easy to read but once it arrive as the message it change the spacing???

I tried the 9volt direct hook up to the servo to send to full cold setting for removal and again nothing. Funny though the resistance reading on the electric motor was fine.

If I recall correctly, the instructions have full cool and full heat reversed on the feedback pot. So you're actually at full cool. Should be fairly simple to answer, are you getting hot air, or cold?

The servo runs very slowly on 9v, might be imperceptible.

Was getting cold mostly from the center vent.
Funny out come today. I moved the two linkages that are connected to the servo, and all the climate functions started working. Maybe the servo needed a little movement to kick it off....problem now is hot air is coming from the foot vents cold up in the top vents. I'm putting a new heater tap in as part of my maintenance of the cooling system. The tap may be stuck or leaking.

OK update. Worked out through the Jagaire tests that my servo was non operational. Purchased a rebuilt unit from Gary at Jagaire. Great people to deal with. Gary is very helpful and I do appreciate his time spent on e-mail. Fitted the unit this morning and air is working well, just need to work out why the majority of the air is coming from the centre vent (auto) mode.

The center vent is closed by vacuum, via a valve in the servo unit, and a vacuum servo left top of the heater. Either it's stuck, or there's a problem in the vacuum system.

The footwell vents are also vacuum controlled.

If there's no vacuum everything opens.

The vac reservoir is accessed from the engine bay. It is under a plate where the pedal box would be if the car was steered from the other side. It is fed from the manifold, and there is a non-return valve between the manifold and the reservoir. Highly likely the tube of valve is shot. From the reservoir the vac tube goes to the heater/aircon unit.

Did you connect all the vacuum lines the same, to the new servo unit?
