Doubt it is, but they almost look alike. If the plug and brake line fit right in, then give it a shot

No, quite different. Uses the same thread for the accumulator, but that's about all.

Hi Jagboi

OK Cheers!

But do you know of any other Car that uses the same ABS Pump as an XJS V12

Jaguar XJ40's. Late 80's Ford Thunderbirds and Mercury Cougars also used the same ball.and looks like the same pump, but used a conventional master cylinder.

Plenty of used abs pumps for the XJS out there. Not new or refurbished but not super expensive. Are having trouble finding one for the XJS?

Hi Jagboi

Cheers! for that, looks like XJ40 could be my best bet

Hi Brewtech

Not desperate for an ABS Pump at the moment but someone I know is Breaking a P38 and was wondering if that ABS Pump would fit and now I know that it won't but I also like to keep my eyes open just in case a spare one should turn up, so I will be looking around for XJ40's just in case

Okay gotcha. XJ40 parts are more abundant compared to XJS. More of them were scrapped.

Classic\P38 pump is different and basically acts like a booster.

Anyways,
