Question air injection system - someone managed to remove the long pipe under RH manifold?

Hi,
I´m just about removing all the pipes and the auxiliary air pump.
Unfortunately I am stuck with the long pipe running underneath the RH exhaust manifold... I can´t pull it on neither side.
Did someone manage to remove this c46337 as one complete piece and without taking out the engine??
Cheers,
Tom

Yes, this would be the best choice.
Unfortunately I have someone who wants the complete undestroyed kit...

I did the same. I think the only way to get it out is to remove the engine.

In The Kirby Palm you find:
"If you ever have the right side exhaust manifolds off for some reason, you can remove it then."
Is someone able to confirm this... ?

Engine out is the way.

Even the RH exhaust manifold off is a mammoth task, engine out is easier again. Maybe not so hard on LHD, but a PITA on RHD.

Okay, gave it up...
...though there might be a chance for the LHDs to get those rear manifolds out by countering the nuts.

Buuuut, the event of having a broken bolt sitting there... led me to arrange my needs in an other way.

Engine out is the only real way.
I have one from the motor I took out last year. I don't need it.

Let me know. I sure don't need it.
